1.3 How much does the app cost?Plantaria is a paid app, but we offer a free trial so you can try everything before deciding.
2. Plant & Disease Recognition
2.1 How accurate is the recognition?We use AI trained on thousands of plant types and diseases. It’s fast, detailed, and surprisingly spot-on — but you can always double-check with our AI Botanist.
2.2 What can I identify with the app?You can identify houseplants, garden plants, trees, flowers, and common diseases affecting them.
2.3 Can it recognize multiple plants in one photo?For best results, focus on one plant per photo. The app works better when it has a clear subject.
3. AI Botanist
3.1 What is the AI Botanist?It’s your personal plant expert. Ask any question — from “Why are my leaves yellow?” to “How do I repot basil?” — and it’ll answer like a pro.
3.2 Can it help with rare plants?Yes! If identification fails or you’re growing something unusual, the AI Botanist is your best bet.
4. Plant Care Tools
4.1 What is the Water Calculator?It tells you how much and how often to water your specific plant, based on type and environment.
4.2 What is the Sunlight Calculator?It helps you understand whether your plant is getting too much or too little sun.
4.3 Can I organize my plants into folders or categories?Not right now. Plantaria keeps things simple and lightweight.
4.4 How do reminders work in Plantaria?Reminders are visual cards inside each plant profile. You’ll see up to 3 smart suggestions for care actions — like watering, repotting, or pest control — based on the plant’s condition and recent scans.
4.5 Can I build my own digital garden in Plantaria?Yes, every scanned plant is saved in your garden. While you can’t yet sort them into folders or categories, you can track their history, re-scan to check progress, and receive care insights for each one.
5. Privacy & Connectivity
5.1 Do I need an internet connection?Yes, for plant scanning and using the AI tools. Some basic info may be cached, but live features need internet.
5.2 Do you collect my personal data?We don’t require registration or personal details. Your scans stay private.
